These birds spend a lot of time hunting underwater. And when they are hunting they are constantly diving at just the wrong time for picture taking.

Worse yet, when they are active, they tend to work their way away from me and often into the weeds as well.

But during periods of rest, I call them time outs, they just float around and don't seem to mind me.
