A heavy crop of a Red-Shouldered Hawk.

I used my 300mm lens with a 1.7x teleconvertor for this shot. So I had 510mm and, taking the crop factor of the lens into account, I had about 750mm in 35mm equivalent terms. Still, I could have use more.

Someday I'll get a 500mm lens. But not now as I'm waiting for Nikon to add vibration reduction to their 500mm lens and maybe also cut the price.
