An immature Wood Stork foraging for food.
I thought that Wood Storks were ambidextrous when they hunted with both their bill and their feet at the same time.
But in watching more closely, it appears that what they do is poke their partly opened bill into the water and then use their feet to push or chase food toward their bill.
Still I'm impressed. |
